Sore and not in the good way

Well, I guess if you consider trying to improve my physical fitness, it could be considered good.

But holy hell, am I sore. I went to a personal trainer yesterday because my former NFL player neighbor recommended her. I figured if I was ever going to bother with a trainer, that's a good place to start.

My upper body is a little stiff. No biggie. My quads are on fire. Well, it's not too bad. Unless I need to sit down, stand up or use stairs. Then it's pretty goddamn bad. Who knew a boxes could be so evil?

I'm fairly proud of myself for toughing out an hour of working out, and not totally embarrassing myself. But ow.

On a wonderful note. Jeff is helping me so much so my getting up off the couch is as limited as I want.

The joke's on me though because my legs get even worse if I don't move every so often. So now I actually have to get on the elliptical to keep my legs from freezing up completely.

I also need to do this sort of thing, but experiences like yours scare me. Why is it so hard to work out, and so easy to eat and watch TV?

  2. It would scare me, too. And yet, I'm going again tomorrow. Even though my legs are *still* sore.

Because watching TV is awesome. Working out blows. And not in the good way. Well, unless you're getting paid for it.
