Dude, I try to be a go with the flow person. I really do. But car battery dead in the rain, snow coming, thought I sold a tutu but just a work at home scam and I'm craving fast food. I'm tempted to get back in my pajamas, order take out and drink wine all day. Screw being productive and helping the incarcerated. I may even watch a sad movie.
Ya know, after AAA gets here to fix my battery.
But wait, I don't have any pajamas.

I say you should get into Jeff's favorite old t-shirt and lounge in it all day while drinking an absurd amount of wine. Then you should watch that sad movie followed by a classic like Sleepless in Seattle or something with Tom Hanks. I wish I were there to drink the day away with you.
ReplyDeleteAfter spending an hour in the snow and getting that blasted battery replaced, I have a feeling I'm about to just that. Got my chinchilla wet. (he, he) Oooh...good idea. "You've Got Mail" is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI highly recommend watching "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Frank Ford" in your skivvies. Or nothing. It's depressing as shit, but in a good way. I think too much wine would enhance the experience, too.

ReplyDeleteToo late. I took Pink's suggestion and put on one of Jeff's oldest shirts. Watched "Fried Green Tomatoes" for a few sentimental Southern tears. Now I'm watching our fave cuddle movie, "You've Got Mail."
ReplyDeleteI also watched "Garden State." Which I loved in college and now...not so much. Apparently, clinical depression and a total shit relationship is necessary to really enjoy it.
If that's online Netflix, then I may need to make a tutu to that. Surely tulle and wine can increase the good part of the depressing as shit.
Thanks. It's cool now. I was far more productive than I planned because it took AAA until 4:30 this afternoon to get everything taken care of. In the snow. But hey, it's a new battery and I didn't have to pay for it.
